It’s a trip through history, with an addition of grand markets, delicious local food, tropical beaches, desert yurts and even some time to float in the magical Dead Sea.

On this trip we’ll see the Pyramids of Giza, the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, the ruins of Petra, 4 ancient temples, and 2 local villages (one Nubian, one Bedouin). Off land, we’ll enjoy a boat ride down the Nile River, and a couple of relaxing beach days (snorkeling & diving are available!). We’ll also do some unique activities like a desert safari, dining with locals, and spending one night in a desert camp.

?️ Seasonal Notes: This trip takes place in the shoulder season for Egypt (high season is November thru February) and high season for Jordan (high season is March thru May). This is a good mix. Traveling during the shoulder season in Egypt means there will be less tourists and promote tourism dispersal – spreading out tourist arrivals so destinations do not get overwhelmed and resource-constrained. Traveling in Jordan during the high season is preferable because of weather – it is less predictable and much colder during the shoulder & off seasons.
