Seasonal Notes:
The best time for a family with young children to visit Barcelona would be in the spring (April to June) or fall (September to November), as the weather is mild and there are fewer crowds. During these seasons, the city is pleasant and easier to navigate, with many outdoor activities and parks to enjoy. This is also a great time for outdoor activities such as hiking, visiting national parks, and enjoying festivals and events. Traveling during these shoulder seasons also helps curb overtourism.
Summer (July and August) can be quite hot and crowded, making it challenging for families with young children to enjoy their time in the city. Winter (December to February) can also be chilly and damp, with limited outdoor activities available.
